What Do I Need To Begin Working At Home

You can get started working at home with very little equipment or monetary outlay. Most people who work from home are connected to the Internet out of necessity. Reaching clients and employers is easier if you use a service like Skype or email, and you can create social networking accounts to help you connect with others. All you need is a basic computer with an internet connection. A printer is not a necessity, but it definitely makes life easier as you often need to print and fax information to clients.

Beyond the basic electronic gear, check with your local business office to see if you need a permit to work from home. Some municipalities treat work at home businesses as they do any other establishment while others have special regulations for these businesses.
