Work at home mom's have the ability to stay at home all day, be with the kids, do fun things, and work a business. With that said, most people think they have the life. They do what they want; they work when they want, and they run a successful business.
In reality work at home mom's have a hard life. They have so much that is expected of them because they are at home all day. Some people think they have a clean home with nothing out of place, clean laundry, and dinner on the table when their spouse comes home from work.
Well, this is far from the truth in most cases. Most work at home mom's work harder than a mom that works outside the home. Those expectations are true and some try as hard as they can to keep a clean home, spend time with the kids, and work a business, but at times none of them happen.
Some work at home moms have kids in school during the day so this is when they work. Others have kids at home all day so they find time to work during nap time and in the evenings after the kids have gone to bed. Sometimes as a last resort mom's use a babysitter, daycare, or a play date away from the house.
No matter what kind of business you run, quiet is what you need to get work done. Screaming children, ones that want you to play with them, or the ones that require your full attention can prevent this quiet time from happening. This, in turn, means you won't get your work done or you are less productive.
The best thing you can do as a work at home mom is to work your business efficiently. This will help you to spend less time working and more time with your family. If it's possible, outsource as much as you can so you can work on the tasks that require your attention and you can work the things that make you money.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. There is nothing wrong with asking a friend or family member to take your kids off your hands for a while so you can get some work done. There is also nothing wrong with hiring a housekeeper or helper to get you through the day.
Work at home mom's work very hard to keep everything together and still have a successful business. While they enjoy the ability to work at home, they have to remain focused and in charge so things will work properly. Efficiency and organization go hand in hand and are very important for work at home moms and they use them to the best of their ability every day.

I just started work from home on November 1, 2009, and the stress has been so overwhelming I was considering returning to the workplace. Between the things I have to do around the house and working my business the day keeps getting longer and longer. Yes, it has its good points, but it also has its drawn backs. I have decided to keep working at home, and do what I can around the house just like I did when I was working full-time.
I appreciate the nice posts you have on this blog lol. I found your blog while surfing for paid surveys and other money paid related websites and have been reading some of your other posts here and they were pretty nice. Already bookmarked it and I just wanted to acknowledge you for maintaining a blog like this. Great job, keep it up.
will return for more next time
Chris, I agree with you. A work from home business for a mom sounds perfect. But I feel that a mom, working a business in addition to handling her major responsibilities of running a household, has the most difficult job in network marketing. I respect that person very much.
A mom working a business from home must be very disciplined and focus on what they are doing. Proper planning is essential. But success is possible. It's happening for moms all over the country.
Hi Scott,
You are absolutely right, it is not easy but it sure seems that the best things in life sometimes are never attained easily.
Thank you for stopping by.
Take Care,
Chris
