Did you know you should market your home based business offline even if you mainly work it online? Some people may not know you're in business, so you need to tell them about your business.
When you market offline you'll find more people to share your business with and increase your sales. Here are 10 ways to market your home based business offline.
1. Flyers are a great way to share special events, special prices, or post on bulletin boards. You can share a lot of information, but make sure you include your website link at least once. Use bright colors and a font that's easy to read. Don't make the size to small, because people won't stop to read it if it's hard to see.
2. Business cards are the perfect size to carry with you and you should have them on you at all times. Have some in your purse, some in your car, and some in your home. Leave these on the table at the restaurant's you go to, hand them to the person in line at the store with you and to your friends and family when you see them at the mall.
3. Post cards can be mailed to people or businesses you think might be interested in what you offer. Post cards are a good way to put more information than what you can fit on a business card. You can hand these out to people that might be interested in what you offer.
4. Stickers on your car are a good way to attract attention. Make sure your website is listed so people will know how to contact you. Bumper stickers, window stickers, and door stickers are perfect for this type of advertising.
5. Give away samples with your business information on them. People always love getting things for free and samples of your products make it even better because they'll see how they need what you offer.
6. Mom packs are a perfect way to share your information with mom's in locations you may not be able to reach otherwise. You can include flyers, post cards, business cards, or samples in these packs.
7. In person networking events are a good way to show people they can trust your business. If done properly, you'll refer people to other businesses and in turn build a unique business relationship with those and they'll do the same for you.
8. Fairs are a good way to hand out flyers and business cards to those that attend. You can have products on hand to sell if you're allowed to do that with your business.
9. Direct mailings are a good way to reach a large number of people or businesses. There are fees associated with this option so you'll need to check into this before you decide you're going to do it.
10. Pencils are a good way to keep your business in front of your target market. Usually kids are the ones that use these, but that's ok. When you give these out to the kids, they'll love it and show their parents.
There are so many different ways you can market your business. When you market your home based business offline you'll attract people to your site they may not have visited it.
