Have you ever purchased a product and been disappointed in it? Or watched a commercial and think that there's something missing from it, or maybe the message of the commercial isn't clear? If that's the case, then many major retailers and businesses want to hear about it!
These companies value your opinion so much in fact, that they're willing to pay you for it. And it will just take a few minutes of your time. These companies want to know the opinion of average customers just like you because it will help them tailor their business or product to something that will truly be of value to their customers.
Paid online surveys are now taking the place of what businesses used to call focus groups. When speaking to focus groups, businesses gather a group of their main targeted demographic and show them samples of a new product or have them view some ads or commercials that the company is considering releasing as part of their marketing campaign. For participating in these focus groups, individuals would receive small gifts from the company or a cash payment. Simply for giving their opinion!
The problem with focus groups is that they can be very expensive. Not only are there the administrative costs of reaching out to the potential customers that are interested in participating in focus groups, but there's also the cost of running the actual focus group. Usually companies would pay for the individual's transportation to and from the focus group, pay them for the time spent there, and of course, provide drinks and refreshments to serve while the focus group met. This all adds up to a lot of money.
However, simply sending out a paid online survey eliminates many of these costs. The companies then no longer need to send out advertisements for the group to individuals, or provide any transportation or refreshments throughout the group. Because the surveys are only sent to individuals that are already a member of a paid surveys website or group, the companies know exactly where to go to reach their customers.
To start participating in paid online surveys and start taking advantage of the money that can be made on them, you'll first need to start by signing up for these paid surveys on different websites. These websites then send out surveys to the individuals whenever the companies require them to. It only takes you a few minutes to fill out the survey and once that's done, the website will automatically add funds to your account, which is usually an account within the website.
After this, whenever you have funds on that particular website's account that you want to withdraw, you can simply request a payment. The survey company will then send you a payment either through online payment processors such as PayPal or they will send out a check in the mail.
There are many different online paid survey companies that are always looking for new people to fill out surveys. It's important that you make sure that any website you sign up for is reputable. While there are hundreds of legitimate survey companies that can be found online, it's important to watch out for the companies that promise more than they can actually deliver. Some of these companies only want to make a profit and aren't interested in you making supplemental income for yourself.
Because of this, it's important to do your research and find out which paid online survey company will be best for you before making a commitment.
Don't you hate it when you just sit down for dinner and the phone rings? You make your way over to the phone, only to find that some telemarketer is waiting on the other end of the line either trying to sell you some new product, or wanting a few minutes of your time for a survey.
Most of us will take the time to answer a quick survey, even though we're providing valuable information and receiving nothing in return. But did you know you can pick up extra cash participating in paid surveys online?
Now, you might be asking, "Who would be willing to pay me for taking a survey?" The simple answer is: large corporations. Most of the large retail chains like Wal*Mart and Target are anxious to find out what consumers, like you, think about the products or services that they offer.
If they find that a large segment of the population is interested in a certain product, they can budget more money to promote that product. If they find out that most people aren't interested in a particular line of products, they either stop promoting them, or discontinue the product line completely.
In order for these companies to obtain such valuable information, they hire a market research company to send out surveys to a large database of users. Many of these market research companies know that people are becoming more and more concerned about privacy, and won't fill out a survey just out of the goodness of their hearts. So they generate interest by offering paid online surveys. This is a win-win situation for everyone involved. The large conglomerates get their valuable market data, and you receive cash for simply filling out a survey.
The first challenge you'll encounter will be finding the site that will give you the best return for your time. An ideal site will send you new surveys regularly and provide you a better opportunity to earn extra money. Please see our paid surveys page for our recommended survey sites.
You'll also want to consider their payout threshold. Different companies offer different terms. Some companies will allow you to "cash out" as little as $5 within minutes of taking a survey, and others will hold funds for up to four weeks before you can get paid.
You can't rely on one website to provide you with all your survey earnings. Look at four to six different sites and find a happy balance that works for you. If you participate in too many surveys, you might be wasting your time on surveys that pay too little to be worth your time. If you participate in too few surveys, you could be losing money.
After finding the right combination of sites and surveys, you'll find it quite easy to make extra money participating in paid online surveys. Why not get started right now.

Everyone wants to make a little extra money here and there and a great way to make this happen is through finding part time work online. There are plenty of jobs online you can do to supplement your current income and they don't take a degree or a lot of training.
This type of part time work can range from filling out surveys, reviewing products and even include freelance writing. Here then is a list of some of the more common part times jobs with both their upsides as well as their downsides.
Online Paid Surveys
Companies will pay decent money for you to take online paid surveys for them from time to time. They need the feedback from a large group of people to decide in what direction they want to move. While these don't pay a lot, they are quick and easy and you can sometimes even get a discount or the item you reviewed for free.
Another downside is the amount of time it takes to reap the rewards; some will have instant benefits, where others will take some time to accrue the rewards.
Data Entry Type Work
You could join a data entry work from home membership site and gain instant access to thousands of companies that are willing to pay home based affiliate workers to enter data into online forms for advertising purposes. This is probably one of the easiest and fun way's I've seen to make a part time income from home on virtually auto-pilot. Not only do they provide access to legitimate paying companies but they will also provide you with training too.
Product Reviews
These are a bit odd sometimes because, they are situations where you will never see the actual product you are supposed to be reviewing. You have to go online, read other reviews, and then spin the review to fit the needs of the person who wants the review. Sometimes you write a positive review and sometimes a negative one.
Freelance Writing
The Internet is a huge place and it is always in need of new stuff, even if that stuff is a rehash of other stuff. Websites need articles to keep traffic coming to them from search engines and you could be one of the people who provide this service. It doesn't matter if you know nothing about the topic at hand; all you have to do is research the topic and learn about it.
Freelance writing has the advantage as a part time job to allow you to learn something new each and every day. On the downside, you sometimes have to write about the same thing over and over or you have to write about something in a tone that goes against how you feel in regards to it. This part time job can pay very well once you have done it for a while.
Those are just some of the more common online part time jobs available to absolutely anyone. They can take a bit of time to find but once you get into the groove of these part time jobs, you can get a nice bit of extra money flowing into your bank account, which makes everything a little bit easier.
